What is the Whole30?

The Whole30 Program is a popular elimination diet.  Program participants agree to not step on the scale and for 30 days eliminate:
 
Processed Foods
All forms of sugar
Additives
Dairy
Grains
Legumes
Alcohol
 
All these foods are top contributors for inflammation in the body, which can lead to a variety of symptoms including:
 
Water retention
Weight gain
Brain fog
Skin issues such as acne or eczema
Joint pain
Poor sleep
Emotional upset
Autoimmune disorders
 
By eliminating these foods for 30 days, and then gradually reintroducing them back into your diet for 14 days after, you have an opportunity to see how these foods affect you and your symptoms.  
 
You then have the power to make mindful decisions on how you want to consume them moving forward.

Corrie has been a Whole30 participant for 8 years and has completed 10+ full rounds of the program.
 
She’s participating in the January 2019 Whole30 herself, and would be completing the program alongside the group participants.
